New parking garage on corner of 5th and Walnut Streets to open March 1

The Columbia Public Works Department announced the new parking garage on 5th and Walnut streets will open March 1. The garage will hold over 500 permit spaces and 120 metered lots. Parking permits are $50-60 per month and $550-650 yearly, depending on if the space is covered or not.
