Schmidt will win, Anthony pulls ahead
With 6 of 7 precincts counted, Fred Schmidt looks like a guarantee to win the First Ward seat with 54.05 percent of the vote. Mitch Richards carries the second largest with 23.75 percent of the vote.
Helen Anthony has pulled farther ahead of Glen Ehrhardt in the Fifth Ward with 54.36 percent of the vote compared to Ehrhardt's 45.64 percent. 10 of the 12 precincts in the Fifth Ward have reported.
Both Prop 1 and Prop 2 look like they will be passed. With 26 of 38 precincts reporting, Prop 1 carries 69.57 percent of votes in the affirmative and Prop 2 is supported with 86.33 percent of the vote.
