William Clinch is on trial for the murder of Jeremy Bohannon in a Boone County McDonald’s parking lot. Four eyewitnesses testified against Clinch, who had a confession letter is in his wallet along with receipt for ammunition. See the full story in the Columbia Daily Tribune.

Columbia Public Schools Superintendent Chris Belcher has attempted to visit one public school per day since July 1. Belcher eats with students while trying to obey school rules such as quiet time during lunch. Check out more in the Columbia Missourian.

The Missouri Division of Parks is cutting more than 100 jobs since taxes have fallen from $41.2 million to $36.1 million since 2008. Letters were sent out to employees to meet with their supervisors Monday. Find out more in the Columbia Daily Tribune.

Homecoming Talent Finalists will be announced today at 10 p.m. on the steps of Jesse Hall.

Tomorrow night is the 10th Annual Residence Hall Barbecue, a tradition to encourage MU Pride. The barbecue has a 70s theme, and students are encouraged to wear costumes to participate in a costume contest. The event takes place on Dairy Lawn at 6:45 p.m. Food is free.
