Truman's Pond, the popular outdoor pool at the Student Recreation Complex, will not be opening until after the end of the semester, The Maneater reports.

The outdoor pool won't be the only infrastructure at MU getting a facelift this summer. New turf will be added to Stankowski Field and the Jungle Gym in the Recreation Center will be resurfaced. Check out the Missourian for more on the slated projects.

This week, MU students will vote for or against allowing the concealed carry of weapons on campus. The vote, which is detailed in The Maneater, will be used to support an MSA resolution.

Former MU quarterback Chase Daniel may not have been picked up in Saturday's NFL draft, but Daniel nonetheless scored himself a chance at pro play yesterday when he signed with the Washington Redskins. The Columbia Tribune says that Daniel selected the Redskins from among four offers.
