More than 250 mass care professionals gather in Chesterfield on Wednesday at the Catastrophic Earthquake Conference held by the State Emergency Management Agency to discuss how to respond when the next quake hits the New Madrid fault line. Former MU soccer player Andrea Robertson, 32, took the Mrs. America crown in Tucson, Ariz., a week ago. In addition to a host of prizes, she will compete against 80 other contestants in Vietnam this November for the international crown. The Columbia Tribune has the whole story here.
