Suspect identified in Douglass Park murder
Police have identified Grady F. Dortch Jr., 29, of Columbia, as a suspect in the murder of Miles Q. Heard.
Heard and Dortch were acquaintances and the shooting is not considered to be random, a Columbia Police Department news release stated.
Police have obtained a warrant for Dortch's arrest from the Boone County Prosecutor's office for first-degree murder and armed criminal action. The bond has been set at 1,000,000 dollars, cash only. His location is unknown and police consider him to be armed and dangerous, the news release stated.
Dortch is described as a 6'4 ft., 195 lbs., black male with cropped hair. His address is unknown.

Where is the physical evidence? All I've read and heard is he-say she-say. Where is the foresic evidence? Just because Mr. Dortch fought with this guy days before doesn't mean he killed him?
