Campus building vandalized on Christmas Eve
A Dec. 24 vandalism of three women's restrooms in Strickland Hall could cost more than $6,000 to repair.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 5 and 7 p.m., a news release from the MU Police Department stated.
Water lines to sinks in the restrooms were damaged, causing the first, second and third floors of Strickland Hall to flood.
The estimated cost of repairs is $6,426.21.
MUPD Capt. Brian Weimer said no more information could be released at this time because it may harm the investigation, but police are asking the community to help out with leads in the investigation.
Weimer also said vandalisms are always happening, but this one was significant.
