Columbia man attacked on Lakeview Drive
A Columbia man was attacked in the 1200 block of Lakeview Saturday morning.
The victim, a 22-year-old man told police he was approached by three men around 3:22 a.m., stated a news release from the Columbia Police Department.
One of the suspects hit the victim in the face. The same suspect hit the victim two more times and demanded money. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, the news release stated.
The three suspects, described as men in their mid 30’s with one being around 6’3” and 200 pounds, then left the scene on foot and headed north.
The victim had cuts to his face but refused medical attention.
