Suspect sought in marijuana bust

The Mid-Missouri Unified Strike Team and Narcotics Drug Group (MUSTANG) task force and the Columbia Police Department discovered multiple marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia Monday afternoon in east Columbia. The drug paraphernalia was discovered after officials obtained a search warrant for the residence, located at 3104 Crawford St. Officials obtained the search warrant related to an indoor marijuana growing operation, according to a news release. Officials discovered 20 marijuana plants, various types of fertilizer and chemicals used for marijuana growth as well as various forms of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was not present during the investigation. Members of the MUSTANG task force and the Columbia Police Department are currently seeking this suspect on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

You better believe they were watching this guy buy grow stuff from the local grow store, heartland hydroponics. Lazy narcs with nothing better to do than bust flower growers. you guys should be patting yourselves on the back for busting an evil pot grower!! With a whopping 20 plants! go bust some real drugs like meth and crack, plenty of that around this college town. Get real, youve lost the drug war, time to focus your super hero powers on real crimes. Personally I dont like pot, but I hate to see our tax dollars wasted on measly marijuana busts like this...
