Narcotics search warrant leads to Columbia woman’s arrest
Police arrested a Columbia woman Friday evening after a search warrant yielded approximately two pounds of marijuana, several items of paraphernalia, scales and packaging materials, stated a news release from the Columbia Police Department.
Kelly Hottell, 41, was arrested on suspicion of distribution of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A joint investigation by CPD and the Boone County Sheriff’s Department served the narcotics related search around 5:40 p.m. at 213 E. El Cortez Drive. Officers entered and found the drug items, which led to the arrest, the news release stated.
