MU freshman football player arrested
MU freshman quarterback Blaine Dalton was arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and liquor laws.
Boone County Sheriff's Department Maj. Tom Reddin said he could not say what the controlled substances were since the Columbia Police Department made the arrest.
Columbia police could not immediately be reached.
Dalton posted his $4,500 bond for his possession of a controlled substance arrest and $300 bond for his liquor laws arrest.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department took Dalton from CPD to the Boone County Jail after his arrest, Reddin said.
