Sheriff's department to hold DWI enforcement operation
The Boone County Sheriff's Department is planning to conduct a saturation and/or sobriety checkpoint in Boone County, a Sheriff's department news release stated.
The enforcement operation will be held sometime between Thursday and Sunday and will begin during the late evening hours of a determined day and will end early the following morning, the news release stated.
According to the news release, law-abiding motorists encountering the checkpoint and/or saturation should expect minimal delay in traffic.
The planned event has been funded by a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation Division of Highway Safety, the news release stated.
