Car catches fire at Providence Road and Elm Street
A car caught fire at the intersection of Providence and Elm at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21.
The owner of the car, Kevin Horner, said he was driving the car when it ignited. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Horner said he and his wife had just gotten the car to fix it up and were taking it to get registered when it caught fire.
Catherine Horner said she came to the scene for support after the car caught fire.
“It was our fun car,” she said.
