The Columbia Police Department made several arrests Wednesday in reference to two robberies and a burglary that happened in early March.

According to a CPD news release, officers responded to reports of a robbery at Rangeline Liquor on March 8 and Dream Smoke Shop on March 9. Officers also responded to a burglary at Hardt's Furniture Store on March 5.

CPD detectives and Street Crimes unit officers arrested Kyle Gunn, 17, and Diego Camargo, 18, of Columbia for committing the burglary at the furniture store, the news release stated. Zachary Davis, 23, of Columbia, was arrested for robbing the Dream Smoke Shop and Rangeline Liquor. John Gunn, 51, was arrested for assisting in planning the burglary of the furniture story and robbery of the Dream Smoke Shop. Camargo and John Gunn also assisted in robbing Rangleine Liquor, the news release stated.

Investigators working with the burglary victim were able to obtain information that allowed CPD to identify the burglary suspects, the news release stated. Officers also reviewed surveillance footage of the two robberies and determined that the handgun used in the robberies was stolen from the furniture store, therefore linking the three crimes.

The suspects also made incriminating statements during interviews, the news release stated. Additional leads are being followed regarding property stolen from the burglary. These leads may result in more arrests in the future, the news release stated.
