CPD searching for two men suspected of rape
Two men are wanted in Columbia for several counts of rape, a Columbia Police Department news release stated.
Mark A. Whitworth, 47, is wanted for multiple counts of deviate sexual assault, sodomy, statutory rape, statutory sodomy, incest and child molestation. The news release stated he abused female family members for several years, and CPD believe he is in Columbia.
William L. Palmer, 18, is wanted for one count of statutory sodomy and one count of statutory rape. He and another man raped a 13-year-old girl in Columbia on March 31, the news release stated. Palmer's last known address is 749 E. Demaret Drive in Columbia.
The other suspect in the rape, Skylar L. McClanahan, was arrested on Wednesday, the news release stated.
