Man robbed in East Campus
A Columbia man was robbed while walking home from his friend's house. As he was walking along Williams St. around 10:30 at night May 7, a group of three or four males began following him, Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Jessie Haden said in an e-mail.
When the victim heard the group get close, he turned around and was struck in the face. The men demanded his money. After the victim gave the robbers his cash, they took off on foot.
