Washington no longer enrolled at MU
Friday, a spokeswoman at the university's Registrar's Office said suspended Missouri football player Derrick Washington was last enrolled at MU for the summer semester of 2010. She could not confirm his enrollment status for the fall semester but could verify other students are currently enrolled.
By dropping out of MU, Washington would be forfeiting his athletic scholarship.
Athletics Department spokesman Chad Moller would not comment on whether Washington is currently enrolled.
Washington was permanently suspended from the football team after he was charged with deviate sexual assault in August. Washington was later arrested for third-degree domestic assault Sept. 12.
