Update: Police look for missing child
Columbia police have found an 11-year-old who was reported missing Thursday evening.
Eleven-year-old Brondale Wilkerson went to school Thursday at Gentry Middle School, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.
Wilkerson took a bus to school and remained on the bus when his sister exited at Park Avenue and Providence Road. He continued on to his aunt's house. He then left her house and was walking in the area with his cousin, the release stated. The two went to a Walgreens and Wilkerson's cousin left without him.
Wilkerson tried to walk home, but did not know the area well and got lost. He eventually found his way home and is unharmed, the release stated.
