Jury deliberates in Doisy case
Prosecuting attorney Richard Hicks rested the State’s case against Johnny Wright, accused of murdering Becky Doisy in 1976 at about 9:20 this morning. Defense attorney Cleveland Tyson rested the defense’s case at 11:13 a.m., at which time all evidence in the case was closed. Both parties then made their closing arguments to the jury, which entered into deliberation shortly before 1 p.m. today.
