Police arrest eighth suspect in Hobson homicide

Police have apprehended the eighth and final suspect in the October robbery and murder of 22-year-old Aaron Hobson.

Police used surveilence footage from the Break Time on Nifong Boulevard where the incident occurred to identify Patrick Marshal, according to a Columbia Police Department news release. Several co-defendants in the case also identified Marshall as a suspect in the case.

Police obtained a warrant for Marshall's arrest on suspicion of second-degree murder, but could not locate him for several months. Wednesday afternoon, Marshall came to the police department with his attorney and turned himself in on the outstanding warrant, the release stated. His bond was set at $1 million, cash only.
