Two MU students killed after automobile accident
Sophomore Jeremy Porter and junior Sean Radcliff were killed Sunday evening in an automobile accident in Oklahoma. A third passenger, junior Ryan Iadanza, is in stable condition. All three men participated in Marching Mizzou, Director Brad Snow said.
"This has been rough on the entire Marching Mizzou family," Snow said. "I can’t begin to explain the bonds that are formed through an activity like Marching Mizzou. I received around 50 calls and texts starting around 5 a.m. today from my students that were in shock. We all want to do something special to memorialize both. I have already spoken with the athletic department and we are planning a moment of silence at the first home game and we will dedicate this season to their memory."
Snow said the three men were on their way home from San Antonio after visiting a friend from their music fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha, as he graduated from Air Force basic.
"That's the kind of guys they were," he said. "They didn't care how far out of the way they had to go for anybody or anything."
Check back with The Maneater in the next few days as it prepares the story of Porter's life.
UPDATE: Marching Mizzou Director Brad Snow informed The Maneater that Radcliff has died.
