The 19-year-old arrested after dozens of pairs of stolen women's underwear were found in his Hatch Hall room has been sentenced to two years' probation.
Sophomore Kevin Waida pled guilty to misdemeanor stealing for the May incident, according to court documents. Judge Michael Bradley sentenced Waida to two years of unsupervised probation, during which Waida must report any arrests or summons within 48 hours.
Waida was charged with stealing and stalking and was released from Boone County Jail on $1,500 bond, according to a previous Maneater article.
MU Police Department spokesman Brian Weimer said six victims came forward to report missing underwear, but Hatch Hall residents said they thought the number was much higher.
