Adult entertainment store robbed

Columbia police are investigating an armed robbery at Passions Adult Entertainment Store, 1108 East Business Loop 70, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.

Officers were dispatched to the store at 10:32 p.m. Investigators said a male had entered the store, picked out two videos and then pulled a handgun on the clerk.

The suspect demanded money and left the store in an undisclosed direction. Police are not certain if he left on foot or by vehicle.

“He also took the two videos that he had in his hand,” Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Latisha Stroer said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male in his thirties, about 6-foot and with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and carrying a handgun.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers or the Columbia Police Department.
