Chancellor Brady Deaton addressed the UM system Board of Curators this morning, highlighting record enrollment, athletic accomplishments and research partnerships.

Deaton spoke on accomplishments in botanical sciences research and the work being done on Autism at the Thompson Center.

In addition, a new partnership with Shasun Corporation will provide investments for research at the MU Life Science Business Incubator.

"We're linked in in multiple ways to some of the most important work going on in the world today," Deaton said.

To end his presentation, Deaton highlighted the success of Mizzou Athletics, with Missouri Football traveling to the Insight Bowl and Missouri Volleyball playing Duke tonight in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

"It's a good way to end the year on this kind of success."
