Haggard to step down as chairwoman
UM system Board of Curators chairwoman Judith Haggard is stepping down as chairwoman.
Haggard said she is proud to be one of only 19 women to serve on the Board of Curators since 1939, and one of only 10 to serve as chairwoman.
Thanking her parents for her invaluable desire to learn, and former board chairman and Curator Bo Fraser.
To open Friday's meetings, Haggard highlighted the accomplishments such as the economic developments of the UM system, College GameDay at MU, another year of flat tuition rates for in-state undergraduates, record-breaking enrollment and work on potential changes to the retirement program.
