The other side of the ticket
Schieffer had another good question, asking the cadidates to defend their VP choices. Obama went and talked about Biden's expereince in foreign policy and "fighting for the little guy," whereas McCain talked about Palin's reform record in Alaska.
Schieffer then asked Obama whether he thought Palin was qualified, and Obama deferred. McCain said that Biden was qualified, but that he was wrong on several foriegn policy fronts. McCain and Biden's disagreements seemed much more civil then McCain and Obama's disagreements.
