Some thoughts at the 1/3 Mark
-There have been no real defining moments in the debate. McCain has been tough on Obama, but we haven't heard any Ayers or Wright, only issue-based attacks.
-McCain's posture seems very nervous and unsteady, he is giving a fake smile and interrupting Obama regularly. This is a different McCain from the previous debates, but I don't know if it is coming across very well.
-Obama seems to be reaching through the TV fairly well. This debate so far is not the clear win McCain needs. McCain is also letting Obama get into his unifying rhetoric, and it is very effective.
