Missouri has successful first day
Missouri had a successful first day at the Midlands Wrestling Tournament, with five wrestlers still having a shot to win the championship in their respective weight classes. Raymond Jordan, Max Askren, Nick Marable, Mark Ellis and Michael Chandler will all wrestle in the semi-finals this morning. The only Missouri wrestler that has been eliminated thus far is redshirt freshman Troy Dolan. Dolan finished the tournament at 2-2. Missouri is currently in third place with 73.5 points, trailing Iowa with 93 points and Big 12 foe Iowa State with 82.5 points.
