Missouri's lead holding up

Colorado seemed to be charging before the Tiger defense came up with big defensive stops on consecutive drives.

Six minutes remain in the game as the Buffs regain possession at their own 18-yard line.

Colorado inches closer

Gabber was intercepted for the second time today, this one going for 78-yards the other way for a Buffaloes touchdown.

Missouri has now given up 17 unanswered points since near the end of the first half. There's still plenty of time left in this one; the Tigers need to stay on the gas pedal against the CU defense if they want to increase the lead to a comfortable margin once again.

Things getting ugly for Buffs

Colorado has had trouble keeping possession of the ball, even for longer than one play.

The last two Buffalo drives have stalled after a single snap: a fumbled snap and a quarterback sack for a safety have given Missouri prime field position.

The fans at Folsom Field are getting restless as the Tigers have increased their lead to 26-0.

Gabbert finds Alexander for another TD

After Missouri failed to put the ball into the end zone from six yards out its previous possession, the Tigers got the ball back and scored on two plays for another touchdown.

Sophomore tailback De'Vion Moore scampered for 31 yards on the first play of the Missouri drive and sophomore quarterback Blaine Gabbert found Alexander on the next play for a 2-yard touchdown.

As the game heads into the second quarter, Missouri has a 21-0 lead.

Tigers run right through CU defense for touchdown

Missouri went straight to work after receiving the game-opening kickoff by driving 80-yards on 11 plays for a touchdown and 7-0 lead.

By almost splitting their plays evenly between rushes and passes, the Tigers drove right to the end zone and scored on junior tailback Derrick Washington's one-yard touchdown rush.

A pass interference call on Colorado helped Missouri's drive along.

Pregame notes

There may be snow on the ground but the sun is out and shining in Boulder, Colo. for today's game. Though 23 inches of snow fell between Tuesday and Thursday, Folsom Field is clear and ready to go this Homecoming weekend at Colorado.

Missouri is in search of its first win in the Big 12 this season after starting 0-3 in conference. The Buffaloes stand at 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the Big 12.

If recent trends continue, Missouri should escape Folsom Field with a victory. The Tigers outscored Colorado 113-10 in the last two meetings.
