Halftime update
Slow start in Ames for both sides in this one, as the Tigers lead an uneventful contest 7-0 at halftime.
Neither team has a turnover, but they have done little with the ball. Missouri has punted four times and Iowa State three times in the first thirty minutes.
Neither team has more than 170 yards of total offense, as Missouri has just 92 passing yards and 76 rushing yards. Iowa State has just 145 total yards.
A few wasted opportunities for each may explain the low score. The Tigers failed to put points on the board during two trips within the Cyclones' 40-yard line. Iowa State also missed an early field goal try, their only chance at any points in this one.
