Missouri Gains Lead at the Half
Teaxs A&M led the Tigers for 19:26. But with 34 seconds left in the first half, Steve Moore hit two free throws to give Missouri a 37-36 lead.
It was a long fight for the Tigers, as they finally came back against the Aggies. Justin Safford hit a trey to tie the game 33-33, but A&M regained the lead. At least until Moore went to the line.
In the first half, the Tigers hit 12 of 27 shots, including four of 12 from beyond the three-point line. Missouri also presented problems for the Aggies defensively. Even while they battled from behind, MU managed nine steals and turned A&M over 11 times.
