Tigers Hoping to Black Out Longhorns

No tags for this entry.

The Missouri Tigers return to the comfy confines of Mizzou Arena tonight looking to get back to their winning ways. On Saturday, the Tigers dropped a tough one to the Baylor Bears 64-62.

Texas is no easy task. The Longhorns enter Wednesday's game ranked 15th in the AP Poll and 17th in the ESPN/USA Today Poll. However, they have struggled as of late. Texas has dropped five of their last eight games since being ranked number one in the country. On Saturday, they crushed Nebraska by 40 points - 91-51.

While Texas holds the overall advantage in the series, 11-9, the Tigers have won the last two. A win tonight would be the first time Missouri has beaten the Longhorns three games in a row since the 1997-99 seasons when Norm Stewart was coaching.
