Tigers Lead at the Half
With one half of the game complete, Missouri leads Texas 32-31. Michael Dixon and Justin Safford lead the Tigers with six points each.
The first half was dominated by physical play on both sides. Missouri committed 14 fouls, while Texas committed 10 of their own. But the Longhorns struggled mightily from the line, making eight of their 17 free throws.
Even with their lead, the Tigers had trouble from the field. Missouri made 11 of 36 field goals (30.6 percent), but were stingy on defense. They forced 10 Texas turnovers, five steals, and even a couple of blocks.
