Missouri scores 54 seconds into game
Nebraska had a shot of holding Missouri's first-string offense to their first 3-and-out of the season. On third down and five, the crowd was going insane, until senior quarterback Chase Daniel hit sophomore wide receiver Jeremy Maclin for a 58 yard touchdown pass. Much of the work was done by Maclin, who caught the ball around midfield and then used his speed to take it the rest of the way. The drive lasted 3 plays, 63 yards and 54 seconds.
