Missouri coming off solid Thanksgiving week
The Tigers are currently riding a three-game win streak with victories over Oral Roberts, Fairfield and USC. Missouri kicked off tournament play in Puerto Rico with a tough loss to No. 14 Xavier. The two teams battled all game, and Missouri was in position to win going into the final three minutes, but poor free throw shooting allowed Xavier to sneak away with a 75-71 victory.
The Tigers went on to beat Fairfield 87-59 and then upset USC 83-72. They finished the O'Reilly Autoparts Tip-Off in fourth place.
Missouri returned home this week and beat Oral Roberts on Sunday 92-83. Mike Anderson's crew is starting to gain some attention as they picked up six votes in the latest AP Top 25 poll.
