Pine Bluff being blown out early
The Tiger's came out and started hot as they scored on each of their first three possessions. DeMarre Carroll has led the team so far. He nailed a fade away jumper to give MU a 2-0 advantage and then came back on the next possession and hit a tough jump hook. With the buckets Carroll has now scored 1,000 points in his career.
Matt Lawrence got involved next by hitting a three-pointer. Things slowed down for a while after Missouri took a 7-0 lead early. But with Marcus Denmon, Kim English and Just Safford now in the game the pace has picked up once again and Tigers lead 20-4 with 12 minutes to play in the first half.
