Nearly everything going right for Missouri

With just under eight minutes to play in the first half, everything appears to be clicking for Missouri.

When crashing back to the basket to help out inside the paint, Missouri freshman guard Miguel Paul got run over, leaving him sitting flat on the floor. His predicament didn't seem to bother him too much, though, as Paul then stole the ball from a driving Cal player who tried to go in for a layup over a still-sitting Paul.

Marcus Denmon came off the bench and has shown the scoring touch that's made him a bit of a folk legend among students and journalists who saw him heat up during the exhibition season. Denmon leads all scorers with 10 points.
