Alexander becomes fifth player to score touchdown
It appeared that Colorado was moving the ball at will, moving all the way to the Missouri 18-yard line. On fourth and four, the Missouri defense stepped up once again, stopping the Buffalo drive. Missouri's offense was unable to capitalize, having their first three-and-out of the game. Colorado was unsuccessful in moving the ball on its ensuing drive. On the punt return, Maclin showed his speed again, returning the punt for 34 yards and into Colorado territory. Daniel then led a four play, 44 yard scoring drive, hitting junior wide receiver Danario Alexander on a four yard touchdown pass.
