What's at stake tonight
The MU football team isn't the only Missouri squad looking to rebound after a rough weekend in Austin last week. Tonight, the MU volleyball team takes on Colorado in its first match since a 3-0 sweep at the hands of No. 3 Texas in Austin last Friday.
Missouri enters the match tied for ninth in the Big 12 standings. Colorado enters tied for fifth. The kicker? The teams are separated by only one match in the standings. A Missouri win tonight would pull the teams even in the extremely competitive Big 12.
Thus far, Nebraska, Texas and Kansas State have established themselves in the top tier of the conference. After that, the Big 12 is anyone's game. Only two matches separate the fourth and ninth place teams entering tonight's action.
