Start of the season minutes away
The pads are on, the stands are filling and Missouri football's 2009 season is about to begin.
About fifteen minutes await before the Tigers begin their defense of the Big 12 North title with the season opener against Illinois. Missouri, donned in its white road jerseys, have just retreated to the locker room after some pregame warmups here at the Edward Jones Dome.
Marching Mizzou is pumping up the Tiger fans and the ever-growing crowd is filling the dome with an anticipatory buzz.
