Missouri leads 2-0
An athletic dig diving to her left by freshman "Pip" Armendariz kept alive a ball that was later finished by Weiwen Wang, giving Missouri a 25-15 second-set win and a 2-0 lead at the break.<br><br>
Missouri continues to look impressive in its return to conference play. However, odds are the coach Wayne Kreklow will have more to discuss with his team after the second set than the first. In the second set, Missouri had three service errors and cost itself several points on lack of concentration and lack of communication.<br><br>
All season, Kreklow has harped on his team's consistency, saying that it's all too common to see MU win one point and surrender two. Earlier in the season, that inconsistency cost Missouri several matches. So far tonight, the Tigers have shown an ability to recover from inconsistent stretches of play.
