Alexander Gives Tigers the Lead
Missouri scored their third touchdown of the third quarter, this time on a 68-yard reception by Danario Alexander. After catching the ball up the middle, Alexander put a spin-move on the lone Kansas defender and sprinted to the end zone to give the Tigers their first lead of the game, 35-28.
The drive resulted from another fumble by Kansas receiver Dezmon Briscoe. Carl Gettis picked the ball up on the Missouri 27-yard line. Missouri's offense came out, and three plays later, found themselves with the lead.
