Kansas Scores Another
Kansas added to their lead with a one-yard rush by quarterback Todd Reesing to make their lead 14-3 over the Tigers. It was the second drive in a row that resulted in a touchdown for the team.
The Jayhawks went 70 yards on seven plays, and again came up with big plays. Reesing's score was set up by a 34-yard completion to tight end Tim Biere, with Kansas facing a third and 18 situation.
The touchdown was the last scoring play of the first quarter.
