Tigers strike early at Arrowhead
The Tiger offense is on point early as Missouri has scored on their first two possessions.
The Tigers took it 69 yards for the score on the opening drive after they won the toss and elected to receive. Gabbert picked apart the Kansas defense with a handful of completions to receivers T.J. Moe and Jerrell Jackson before junior tailback De'Vion Moore punched it in for his 7th touchdown of the year.
The defense then posted a pair of sacks and forced a punt before the offense would score again. T.J. Moe highlighted the second scoring drive as he scored on a jet sweep with a lunge at the goal line.
Missouri leads 14-0 midway through the first quarter in the Border Showdown.
