Blocked punt leads to TD
After shutting down K-State's offense, linebacker Will Ebner was able to get his big paw up and block the punt. On the next play Missouri showed a gadget formation for the second time with senior receiver Tommy Saunders lining up wide, but in the backfield. Daniel looked to Saunders but then turned the other way and hit Maclin on a short throw. With two blockers in front of him, Maclin was off to the races and never looked back. He went 42 yards all the way to the endzone. Missouri now leads 17-o.
In a game that started off slowly for the Tigers and looked like it could be a slugfest, things have certainly turned around quickly.
