The Tiger offense looked sharp on their first drive after the half. The biggest play came when Daniel hit Saunders for 28 yards over the middle on a perfectly executed option pass. Missouri failed to get in the endzone from the six yard line though, and had to settle for a field goal.

There wasn't much action again until the final seconds of the third quarter when Kansas State scored their first touchdown of the game. Freeman led the Wildcats 66 yards and rushed in the endzone on a six yard run. Missouri now leads 27-10.
