The Wildcats just won't go away in this one as they score on a 26-yard touchdown pass from Coffman. The score was in vain however as the receiver dropped the two-point conversion chance that would've made it a one-score game.

Tigers lead 38-28 with 1:11 to play.

Halftime update from Faurot

After a slow start from both sides, the offenses caught fire with a flurry of scoring in the second quarter. Once T.J. Moe broke the ice with his lunging touchdown after the catch, each team scored on the majority of their possessions.

Kansas State answered every Missouri touchdown until fumbling from two feet out at the end of the half. The turnover came as they threatened to tie it up at 21.

Both teams are getting it done on the ground as the Tigers have 158 rushing yards are two touchdowns to the Wildcats' 151 yards and two scores.

Quarterbacks lead each team in rushing as sophomore backup Collin Klein has 79 rushing yards for Kansas State and Gabbert has 70 on the ground for the Tigers.

Tigers lead 21-14 at halftime and will play defense to start the second half.
