Fast paced first half favors Tigers

Missouri has shown an extremely balanced attack so far in the first half as they lead Lincoln, 56-27. No one in particular has really had a standout performance as only Taylor has reached double figures with 11 points. All but two Tigers have scored so far. Missouri is just too big and strong for Lincoln.

Coach Anderson has tested multiple defensive looks including a 2-3 zone, a half-court man and a full-court press. All of Missouri's looks have plagued Lincoln, which has already turned the ball over 21 times.

Offensively, the Tigers have been pushing the ball hard. They've had a lot of success running a fast break-oriented offense and finding late slashers through the paint.

With a comfortable lead, look for Anderson to test a combination of lineups in the second half. It will be difficult for the Mizzou Arena to get much emptier than it already is. Even with a fresh new look, Missouri basketball couldn't draw much of a crowd for its exhibition opener.
