Game review

Missouri coasts to a 50-6 victory in their home opener at Faurot Field. The Tigers were in command from the opening kickoff and improve to 2-0 on the year.

Highlighting the scoring for the Tigers was true freshman tailback Henry Josey, who ran for three touchdowns.

Gabbert threw for 220 yards of 26-of-31 passing with one touchdown.

Coach Gary Pinkel was able to give multiple backups some playing time in the blowout, with second and third string players stepping in as early as the third quarter.

Next up for the Tigers is a home matchup with San Diego State next Saturday at 6 p.m.
