The Tiger defense forced a quick three-and-out from the Cowboy offense, bringing the offense back out at their own 36-yard line.
Missouri then posted a nearly identical scoring drive, picking away at McNeese State for a nine-play, 64-yard advance. Josey capped it off with his second touchdown run from six yards out.
Tigers lead 14-0 midway through the first quarter.
